Lay Carmelite Third Order app for iPhone and iPad

Lay Carmelites are ordinary men and women from all walks of life. Drawn to the Spirituality of the Carmelite Way of living and fulfilling our Lay Mission in the Church and in the world around us to transform our world in the way we witness to Christ, in family, in the workplace, in society and in the Church.

Answering our Baptismal Call towards holiness or perfection in the Spirit, we journey the road of our ordinary lives towards that spiritual goal that Carmelites call union with God in Jesus Christ.

We journey together as individuals who have come together in search of the living God in a supportive bond of community, with the Blessed Virgin Mary, our Mother and companion on the way; persevering in imitating her virtues. We practice contemplative living in the world, pondering the Word of God in the signs of the times as we continue to live in the world around us and seek the human face of Jesus in all we meet.

This App has Push Notification enabled which allows you to view App messages sent directly from the business straight to your lock screen; Push Notification feature must be enabled for this to work. App contains Integrated Facebook/Twitter feeds.

App contains a Geo-Fencing feature which requires location from the App for it to work.

iBeacons are enabled for this app because in the future we plan to use in-store iBeacons to "stamp" the digital loyalty card within the app.
